Congress on the tape.
Members of Congress must disclose their trades within 45 days under the STOCK Act. The desk reads every periodic transaction report from both chambers, links each row to the primary filing, and keeps score on who files late.
Before you read the feed
Separate the trade from its disclosure.
The transaction can precede the public filing by weeks, and the disclosed amount is a range. Read all three fields together.
- 01Traded
When did the transaction happen?
Traded is the reported transaction date. It is the closest date in the filing to when the purchase or sale occurred.
Read the transaction dates - 02Filed
When did it become public?
Filed is when the disclosure entered the public record. Lag is the number of days between the trade and that filing.

How large was it?
Congress reports statutory value ranges, not exact trade sizes. PTR opens the primary filing behind each row.
